11月20日讯昨晚进行的18强赛C组第6轮比赛，日本客场3-1击败中国队。赛后，中村敬斗在接受采访时认为，球场两侧宽度被缩短影响了日本队的表现。

——谈论球场宽度缩短对于日本队的影响

（球场宽度缩小的话）会有很大的变化，这也就是（中国队球员）会在场上如此之快来的原因。当我看到久保建英传给我时，我射门后真的以为是手球犯规，那个场面本来是1对1，但却变成了1对2，不知道为什么会补防的这么快。如果是普通的球场，我们会更从容地展开攻势，这就是客场比赛的困难，而且中国队在主场已经赢了两场（注：实际为一场），我觉得能赢就足够了。

——点评自己的表现

在对阵澳大利亚的比赛里，我自己状态挺好，球处理得也不错，今天就感觉特别难。本来想照着之前的感觉踢，但结果完全不一样，今天踢得不好。3月份还有比赛，为了能被代表日本队出场，我会继续加油的。
