2022年夏窗，曼联斥资超过8130万英镑签下安东尼，但安东尼的表现并未达到预期。

上个月，曼联主帅滕哈赫被解雇，而安东尼可能也将随其离队，前提是俱乐部能在冬窗为安东尼找到接受者。

报道称，滕哈赫对安东尼的训练态度提出过质疑，而接近俱乐部的消息人士也透露，安东尼被认为是“球队内部和周边的破坏性影响者。”
