英足总官方写道：“达伦-弗莱彻在曼联对阵布伦特福德的英超联赛中被指控行为不端。据称，该教练对第四官员、裁判和/或助理裁判采取了不当和/或对抗的方式和/或使用了辱骂和/或侮辱性语言，达伦-弗莱彻必须在10月29日星期二之前做出回应。”

根据此前报道，在那场比赛的上半场补时阶段，曼联后卫德里赫特因头部受伤流血被裁判要求离开球场治疗，布伦特福德乘机利用角球得分，这引起了曼联方面的强烈不满，据悉中场休息时，弗莱彻在球员通道内与裁判萨姆-巴罗特、第四官员加文-沃德发生了口头冲突。
